Honeystorm padded past her clanmates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Once inside, she dipped her head to the other queens and settled into an empty nest.

Rainkit pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile in the nursery and carried it over to Gorsekit to share.

Meadowflower padded into the ThunderClan camp, carrying a mouse in her jaws. She made her way over to the fresh-kill pile, dropping the mouse on top.

Honeystorm purred and licked at the five tiny kits at her side as they mewled and squealed for milk. As she touched her nose to each kit, she sent a silent thanks to StarClan for a healthy litter.

Shatteredwhisker, you will be mentor to Reedpaw. Ripplekit, you will be known as Ripplepaw. Spottedmouse, you will be mentor to Ripplepaw. Hollykit, you will be known as Hollypaw. Meadowflower, you will be mentor to Hollypaw. Harekit, you will be known as Harepaw. Honeybirch, you will be mentor to Harepaw."
