Shadestorm pricked up her ears and padded over to hear what her mate had to say.

"I, Mangostar, Leader of TalonClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Frostpaw, Aspenpaw, Boulderpaw, Eveningpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." meowed Frostpaw quietly.

"I do." meowed Aspenpaw, puffing out her chest.

"I do." meowed Boulderpaw.

"I do." meowed Eveningpaw.

"Then by StarClan, I give you all your warrior names." continued Mangostar. "Frostpaw, you will be known as Frostear. Aspenpaw, you will be known as Aspenpelt. Boulderpaw, you will be known as Bouldertail. Eveningpaw, you will be known as Eveningfang. StarClan honors you all and we welcome you all as full warriors of TalonClan."

"Frostear, Aspenpelt, Bouldertail, Eveningfang!" cheered Softpaw for his former denmates.

Silverfeather padded into the TalonClan camp, carrying yarrow in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Brackenfall, placing the yarrow into the storage.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Mangostar from the top of his den.

Thrushflight, you will be mentor to Firepaw. Bramblekit, you will be known as Bramblepaw. Frostear, you will be mentor to Bramblepaw. Dustkit, you will be known as Dustpaw. Quickfur, you will be mentor to Dustpaw. Squirrelkit, you will be known as Squirrelpaw. Daisyface, you will be mentor to Squirrelpaw. Leafkit, you will be known as Leafpaw. Cherrystripe, you will be mentor to Leafpaw. Birchkit, you will be known as Birchpaw. Cinnamonpool, you will be mentor to Birchpaw."

Firepaw puffed out her chest in pride and padded over to Thrushflight.

"Let's go check out the territory." meowed Thrushflight as she touched noses with Firepaw.

Bramblepaw puffed out her chest and padded over to Frostear.

"Ready to learn how to hunt?" meowed Frostear as she touched noses with Bramblepaw.

Dustpaw narrowed his eyes and made his way across the clearing to Quickfur.

"Let's go work on some basic fighting moves." meowed Quickfur as she touched noses with Dustpaw.

Squirrelpaw let out a snort and padded over to Daisyface.

"Mind if we come with you?" meowed Daisyface to Thrushflight.
