Current SoulClan Plot

"I, Soulstar, Leader of SoulClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Dawnpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." meowed Dawnpaw.

"Then by StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Dawnpaw, you will be known as Dawnfoot. StarClan honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of SoulClan." Padding forward, Soulstar rested her muzzle on top of Dawnfoot's head.

Dawnfoot licked Soulstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the clan call out his new name.

"Dawnfoot, Dawnfoot, Dawnfoot!" cheered Dawnfur from her seat outside the nursery.

Hailcloud padded out of his den, dragging the body of Fallowfur in his jaws. He made his way to the center of the clan camp, arranging the deputy's body so the clan could grieve.

Stumpytail padded forward and pressed his nose into Fallowfur's pelt.

Soulstar pressed her nose to Fallowfur's pelt, then tossed her head back in a yowl. "Cats of SoulClan. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarClan so our ancestors may hear my approve and choice...Thistlepelt will be the deputy of SoulClan!"

"Thank you, Soulstar." meowed Thistlepelt.

"Thistlepelt, Thistlepelt, Thistlepelt!" cheered Bramblekit from her seat outside the nursery.

Hailcloud padded into the SoulClan camp, carrying a poppy head in his jaws. He made his way into his den, placing the poppy head into the storage.

Dawnfoot pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and carried it over to Chivestorm.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Soulstar from the center of the clan camp.

Graykit pricked up her ears and padded out of the nursery to hear what Soulstar had to say.

"We gather today to welcome six kits into their lives as apprentices." continued Soulstar once the clan had gathered. "Jaykit, you will be known as Jaypaw. Berrynose, you will be mentor to Jaypaw. Cinderkit, you will be known as Cinderpaw. Stumpytail, you will be mentor to Cinderpaw. Dovekit, you will be known as Dovepaw. Waterheart, you will be mentor to Dovepaw. Stormkit, you will be known as Stormpaw. Magnoliaflower, you will be mentor to Stormpaw. Twigkit, you will be known as Twigpaw. Dawnfoot, you will be mentor to Twigpaw. Graykit, you will be known as Graypaw. I will be your mentor."

Letting out a loud purr, Jaypaw padded over to Berrynose.

"Let's go check out the territory. You can tell me what you know and then we'll go over what's actually correct." meowed Berrynose as he touched noses with Jaypaw.

Cinderpaw puffed out his chest and padded over to Stumpytail.

"Ready to learn how to hunt?" meowed Stumpytail as he touched noses with Cinderpaw.

Dovepaw let out a loud yowl and scampered over to Waterheart.

"Let's go work on some basic fighting moves." meowed Waterheart as she touched noses with Dovepaw.

Stormpaw puffed out her chest and padded over to Magnoliaflower.

"Mind if we join you?" Magnoliaflower asked Berrynose.

Twigpaw quietly padded over to Dawnfoot.

"I hope it's okay if we tag along." meowed Dawnfoot to Stumpytail.
