Current SnowPride Plot

"Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior names." continued Graystar. "Moonpaw, you will be known as Moonfoot. Silentpaw, you will be known as Silentfoot. StarPride honors you both and we welcome you both as full warriors of SnowPride."

Moonfoot gave a little wiggle as the pride called out their new names.

Silentfoot sat quietly as the pride called out their new names.

"Moonfoot, Silentfoot! Moonfoot, Silentfoot!" cheered Foxcub from his seat outside the nursery.

Waterpelt padded into the SnowPride camp, carrying a rabbit in her jaws. She made her way into the nursery, dropping the rabbit at the queen's paws with a dip of her head.

Cedarpaw pulled a starling from the fresh-kill pile and sat down to eat.

Whiteadder padded out of his den, dragging the body of Leafpetal in his jaws. He made his way to the center of the pride camp, arranging the deputy's body so the pride could grieve.

Barleycub padded out of the nursery and pressed her nose into Leafpetal's fur.

Graystar pressed her nose into Leafpetal's fur, then tossed her head back in a roar. "Lions of SnowPride. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPride so our ancestors may hear and approve my choice...Waterpelt will be the deputy of SnowPride!"

"Thank you, Graystar." answered Waterpelt with a dip of her head.

"Waterpelt, Waterpelt, Waterpelt!" cheered Runningcub from his seat outside the nursery.

Whiteadder padded into the SnowPride camp, carrying yarrow in his jaws. He made his way into his den, placing the yarrow into the storage.

Sorreltail padded into the SnowPride camp, carrying a squirrel in her jaws. She made her way into the nursery, dropping the squirrel at the queen's paws with a dip of her head.

"Let all lions old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" roared Graystar from the center of the pride camp.

Silverpaw pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Graystar had to say.

"We gather today to welcome five cubs into their lives as apprentices" continued Graystar once the pride had gathered. "Mothcub, you will be known as Mothpaw. Specklenose, you will be mentor to Mothpaw. Graycub, you will be known as Graypaw. Cloudheart, you will be mentor to Graypaw. Duskcub, you will be known as Duskpaw. Brookfall, you will be mentor to Duskpaw. Foxcub, you will be known as Foxpaw. Smokyflower, you will be mentor to Foxpaw. Aspencub, you will be known as Aspenpaw. Since you have shown an interest in healing, Whiteadder will be your mentor."

Aspenpaw blinked a few times, then padded silently over to Whiteadder.

"Let's get you a nest in the den sorted out and then go over some basic remedies." suggested Whiteadder as he touched noses with Aspenpaw.

Mothpaw gave a little wiggle and padded happily over to Specklenose.

"Ready to go check out the territory?" Specklenose asked Mothpaw.

Graypaw let out the biggest roar he could muster, then padded quickly over to Cloudheart.

"Let's go work on getting your hunting skills up to par." suggested Cloudheart as she touched noses with Graypaw.

Duskpaw puffed out his chest and padded over to Brookfall.

"Ready to learn how to fight?" Brookfall asked Duskpaw.

Foxpaw lifted his head up in pride and padded over to Smokyflower.
