Current BirdClan Plot

"Thank you, Thunderstar." meowed Cloudpelt with a dip of his head.

"Cloudpelt, Cloudpelt, Cloudpelt!" cheered Oakpaw for the clan's new deputy.

Lilyflight padded into the BirdClan camp, carrying cobwebs in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Silentleap, placing the cobwebs into the storage.

Paletail padded into the BirdClan camp, carrying a mouse in her jaws. She made her way into the nursery, dropping the mouse at the queen's paws with a dip of her head.

Lilyflight padded into the BirdClan camp, carrying yarrow in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Silentleap, placing the yarrow into the storage.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Thunderstar from the center of the clan camp.

Bramblekit pricked up his ears and padded out of the nursery to hear what his father had to say.

"I, Thunderstar, Leader of BirdClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Oakpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." meowed Oakpaw.

"Then by StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Oakpaw, you will be known as Oakshade. StarClan honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of BirdClan." Padding forward, Thunderstar rested his muzzle on top of Oakshade's head.

Oakshade licked Thunderstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the clan calling out his new name.

"Oakshade, Oakshade, Oakshade!" cheered Cloudkit from her seat outside the nursery.

Lilyflight padded into the BirdClan camp, carrying a poppy head in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Silentleap, placing the poppy head into the storage.

Cloudkit pulled a leg from a rabbit on the fresh-kill pile and dragged it back to her littermates to eat.

Hawkwing purred and licked at the six tiny kits at her side as they mewled and squealed for milk. As she touched her nose to each kit, she sent a silent thanks to StarClan for a healthy litter.

Lilyflight padded into the BirdClan camp, carrying thyme in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Silentleap, placing the thyme into the storage.

Wolfleap padded past her clanmates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Once inside, she dipped her head to the other queens and settled into an empty nest.

Copperfeather pulled a starling from the fresh-kill pile and carried it over to Aquanose.
