Starscar pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Froststar had to say.

"I, Froststar, Leader of FrostClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Nightpaw, Redpaw, Oxenpaw, Deadpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." purred Deadpaw.

"I do." meowed Nightpaw.

"I do." meowed Oxenpaw.

"I do." purred Redpaw.

"Then by StarClan, I give you all your warrior names." continued Froststar. "Nightpaw, you will be known as Nightfern. Redpaw, you will be known as Redheart. Oxenpaw, you will be known as Oxenwing. Deadpaw, you will be known as Deadmoon. StarClan honors you all and we welcome you all as full warriors of FrostClan."

Deadmoon puffed out his chest in pride as the clan called out their new names.

Nightfern gave a little nod to Froststar, listening to the clan call out their new names.

Oxenwing sat up stiffly as the clan called out their new names.

Letting out a loud purr, Redheart listened to the clan calling out their new names.

"Deadmoon, Oxenwing, Redheart, Nightfern!" cheered Berrypaw for the clan's newest warriors.

Lilypeak padded past her clanmates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Once inside, she dipped her head to the other queens and settled down into an empty nest.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Froststar from the rocks near her den.

"We gather today to welcome five kits into their lives as apprentices." continued Froststar once the clan had gathered. "Tigerkit, you will be known as Tigerpaw. Heartface, you will be mentor to Tigerpaw. Yellowkit, you will be known as Yellowpaw. Wolfhollow, you will be mentor to Yellowpaw. Runningkit, you will be known as Runningpaw. Kestrelwing, you will be mentor to Runningpaw. Willowkit, you will be known as Willowpaw. Skyalder, you will be mentor to Willowpaw. Mousekit, you will be known as Mousepaw. Ebonynose, you will be mentor to Mousepaw."

Tigerpaw purred quietly to herself and padded over to Heartface.

"Let's go check out the territory." meowed Heartface as she touched noses with Tigerpaw.

Yellowpaw sniffed to herself and then headed over to Wolfhollow.

"Ready to learn how to hunt?" meowed Wolfhollow as she touched noses with Yellowpaw.

Runningpaw puffed out his chest and padded over to Kestrelwing.

"Let's go work on some fighting moves." meowed Kestrelwing as he touched noses with Runningpaw.

Willowpaw puffed out her chest and padded over to Skyalder.

"Mind if we come with you?" meowed Skyalder to Heartface.
