"Mind if we come with you?" Stonetooth meowed to Spottedface.

Whitepaw snorted smugly to himself, then padded over to Cloudfang.

"I hope you don't mind a tag-along." meowed Cloudfang to Firefur.

Letting out a loud purr, Birchpaw padded over to Sandstorm.

"Go get to know your new denmates." meowed Sandstorm as she touched noses with Birchpaw.

"Bramblepaw, Leafpaw, Jaypaw, Cloudpaw, Whitepaw, Birchpaw!" cheered Poisonfang from her seat outside the nursery.

Cinderfeather padded out of his den, dragging the body of Duskfoot in his jaws. He made his way to the center of the clan camp, arranging the deputy's body so the clan could grieve.

Whorlpaw padded over and pressed his nose into Duskfoot's fur.

Rubystar pressed her nose into Duskfoot's fur, then tossed her head back in a yowl. "Cats of AirClan. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarClan so our ancestors may hear my approve and choice...Crookedtail will be the deputy of AirClan!"
