"Let's go work on some fighting techniques." meowed Poolstorm as he touched noses with Hollowpaw.

"Mind if we come with you?" meowed Sorrelfoot to Emberbeetle.

"Go get to know your new denmate." meowed Vanillaear as she touched noses with Dustpaw.

"Fangpaw, Meadowpaw, Dustpaw, Hollowpaw, Pyritepaw!" cheered Fallowstorm for the clan's newest apprentices.

Robincloud padded into the SpiderClan camp, carrying tansy in his jaws. He made his way into the den he shared with Lakepaw, placing the tansy into the storage.

Fallowstorm purred and licked at the five tiny kits at her side as they mewled and squealed for milk. As she touched her nose to each kit, she sent a silent thanks to StarClan for a healthy litter.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Toadstar from the rocks near his den.

Icejay pricked up her ears and padded over to hear what Toadstar had to say.

"We gathered today to welcome two kits into their lives as apprentices." continued Toadstar once the clan had gathered. "Killerkit, you will be known as Killerpaw. Nightpetal, you will be mentor to Killerpaw. Battlekit, you will be known as Battlepaw. Streamflower, you will be mentor to Battlepaw."

Battlepaw tipped his head to the side, then headed over to Streamflower.

Killerpaw let out a loud purr and padded over to Nightpetal.

"Let's go check out the territory." meowed Nightpetal as he touched noses with Killerpaw.

"Go get to know your new denmates." meowed Streamflower as he touched noses with Battlepaw.

"Killerpaw, Battlepaw! Killerpaw, Battlepaw!" cheered Nightpelt for the clan's newest apprentices.

Adderkit pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile in the nursery and dragged it back to her littermates to share.

Icejay padded past her clanmates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Dipping her head to the other queens, she settled down into an empty nest.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Toadstar from the rocks near his den.

Dreamdaisy pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Toadstar had to say.

"Sablefur, is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go to join the elders?" called out Toadstar once the clan had gathered.

"It is." meowed Sablefur.

"I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest. Your clan thanks you for your service." finished Toadstar.

"Sablefur, Sablefur, Sablefur!" cheered Breezedawn for his former denmate.
