Current HollowPack Plot

Sandwing gave a little bounce, listening to the pack call out their new names.

Boulderheart's tail wagged all over the place as the pack called out their new names.

"Chasepool, Sandwing, Boulderheart!" cheered Stormear for the pack's newest warriors.

Brambleclaw pulled a vole from the fresh-kill pile and carried it over to Chasepool.

"Let all dogs old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pack meeting!" howled Hollowstar from the center of the pack camp.

Lostwash pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Hollowstar had to say.

"I, Hollowstar, Leader of HollowPack, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Tallpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Pack, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." answered Tallpaw.

"Then by StarPack, I give you your warrior name. Tallpaw, you will be known as Tallfeather. StarPack honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of HollowPack." Padding forward, Hollowstar rested his muzzle on top of Tallfeather's head.

Tallfeather licked Hollowstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the pack call out his new name.

"Tallfeather, Tallfeather, Tallfeather!" cheered Brambleclaw for her new denmate.

Rainfang padded into the HollowPack camp, carrying marigold in her jaws. She made her way into the den she shared with Cedarpaw, placing the marigold into the storage.

"Let all dogs old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pack meeting!" howled Hollowstar from the center of the pack camp.

Lostwash pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Hollowstar had to say.

"Then by StarPack, I give you your warrior name. Stonepaw, you will be known as Stonepelt. StarPack honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of HollowPack." Padding forward, Hollowstar rested his muzzle on top of Stonepelt's head.

Stonepelt licked her father's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the pack call out her new name.

"Stonepelt, Stonepelt, Stonepelt!" cheered Brambleclaw for her new denmate.

Rainfang padded out of her den, dragging the body of Lavenderstorm in her jaws. She made her way to the center of the pack camp, arranging the deputy's body so the pack could grieve.

Cypresstail padded out of the elder's den and pressed her nose into Lavenderstorm's fur.

Hollowstar pressed his nose into Lavenderstorm's fur, then tossed his head back in a howl. "Dogs of HollowPack. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPack so our ancestors may hear my approve and choice...Rainwind will be the deputy of HollowPack!"

"Thank you, Hollowstar." answered Rainwind with a dip of her head.

"Rainwind, Rainwind, Rainwind!" cheered Cypresstail for the pack's new deputy.

Brambleclaw padded past her packmates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Once inside, she dipped her head to the other queen and settled into an empty nest.
