How do you join a clan?

I'm new and I'm trying to figure out how to get started. Could someone give me some advice?

I'll use an example to help you through the joining process:

Say you wanted to join one of the North American clans. Click on the Clans of North America header, scroll down to the bottom until you see "Create a *insert cat here* form". Open whichever one you want to be, then copy the information. Scroll back up to say, CheetahClan (if that's the one you want to join), and click on CheetahClan.

Then say if you wanted to be a Queen of CheetahClan, you click on Queens and Kits of CheetahClan, hit the reply button, and paste the form in the reply, plus add all the information for your cat.
