Littlepool padded into the BramblePride camp, carrying cobwebs in her jaws. She made her way into the den she shared with Liquidpaw, placing the cobwebs into the storage.

Deeptrouble padded into the BramblePride camp, carrying an ermine in her jaws. She made her way into the elder's den, dropping the ermine at the elder's paws with a dip of her head.

Littlepool padded into the BramblePride camp, carrying marigold in her jaws. She made her way into the den she shared with Liquidpaw, placing the marigold into the storage.

Deeptrouble pulled a bullhead from the fresh-kill pile and sat down nearby to eat.

Littlepool padded out of the BramblePride camp, carrying the body of Pansypelt in her jaws. She made her way to the pride burial grounds, placing him into a hole and covering his body with earth.

Deepstalker padded forward and pressed her nose into Whirlclaw's fur.

Bramblestar touched her nose to Whirlclaw's fur, then tossed her head back in a yowl. "Bobcats of BramblePride. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPride so our ancestors may hear and approve my choice...Nightstorm will be the deputy of BramblePride!"

"Thank you, Bramblestar." answered Nightstorm with a dip of her head.

"Nightstorm, Nightstorm, Nightstorm!" cheered Littlestep for the pride's new deputy.

Dustplain padded over and pressed her nose into Nightstorm's fur.

Bramblestar touched her nose to Nightstorm's fur, then tossed her head back in a yowl. "Bobcats of BramblePride. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPride so our ancestors may hear and approve my choice...Maplefur will be the deputy of BramblePride!"
