Scorchstar padded into the ScorchPride camp, carrying a boa constrictor in his jaws. He padded into the nursery, dropping the boa at the queen's paws with a dip of his head

Duskcloud's chest rumbled as she licked the four cubs at her side as they pressed their paws onto her belly for milk. As she touched her nose to each cub, she whispered their names into their tiny ears.

Fallnose padded into the ScorchPride camp, carrying thyme leaves in his jaws. He made his way into his den, placing the thyme down into the storage.

Hazelflower's chest rumbled as she licked the six tiny cubs at her side as they pressed onto her belly for milk. As she touched her nose to each cub, she whispered their names into their tiny ears.

Ravenfoot padded into the ScorchPride camp, carrying a falcon in his jaws. He made his way into the elder's den, dropping the falcon at their paws with a dip of his head.

Hollypoppy's chest rumbled as she licked the four cubs at her side as they pressed onto her belly milk. As she touched her nose to each cub, she whispered their names into their tiny ears.

Ravenfoot padded into the ScorchPride camp, dragging a hawk behind him. He made his way into the elder's den, dropping the hawk at their paws with a dip of his head.

Fallnose padded out of his den, dragging the body of Scorchstar into the middle of the pride camp. He placed the body of their leader in the center, so the pride could grieve.

Hazelflower padded out of the den and pressed her nose into Scorchstar's fur.

Quailfur touched his nose to Scorchstar's pelt, feeling the lives surge into his own body and tossed his head back in a yowl. "Ocelots of ScorchPride. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPride so our ancestors may hear and approve my choice...Brindletail will be the deputy of ScorchPride!"

"Thank you, Quailstar." answered Brindletail with a dip of his head.

"Quailstar, Brindletail! Quailstar, Brindletail!" cheered Ravenfoot for the pride's new leader and deputy.

Ashcub pulled a fish from the fresh-kill pile in the nursery and carried it over to her littermates to share.

Brindletail padded into the ScorchPride camp, carrying a turtle in his jaws. He made his way into the nursery, dropping the turtle at the queen's paws with a dip of his head.

Redcliff padded past her pridemates and into the nursery, squeezing inside carefully. Once inside, she dipped her head to the other queens and settled down into an empty nest.

Fallnose padded into the ScorchPride camp, carrying rosemary in his jaws. He made his way into his den, placing the rosemary into the storage.

Redcliff's chest rumbled as she licked the single cub at her side. As she touched her nose to the cub, she sent a silent thanks to StarPride for a healthy cub.
