Current CrowPride Plot

Crowstar padded into the CrowPride camp, carrying a nighthawk in his jaws. He padded into the nursery, dropping the hawk at the queen's paws with a dip of his head.

Rainfur's chest rumbled as she licked the four tiny cubs at her side as they pressed onto her belly for milk. As she touched her nose to each cub, she whispered their names into their tiny ears.

"Let all ocelots old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" yowled Crowstar from a rock near his den.

Thrushtail pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Crowstar had to say.

"I, Crowstar, Leader of CrowPride, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Bronzepaw, Forestpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your pride, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." answered Bronzepaw, puffing out her chest in pride.

"I do." answered Forestpaw.

"Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior names. Bronzepaw, from this day on, you will be known as Bronzefern. Forestpaw, from this day on, you will be known as Forestfur. StarPride honors you both and we welcome you as full warriors of CrowPride."

Bronzefern puffed out her chest, listening to the sound of the pride calling out their new names.

Forestfur thrust his head up high as the pride called out their new names.

"Bronzefern, Forestfur!" Bronzefern, Forestfur!" cheered Scarletpelt for the pride's newest warriors.

Fallface's chest rumbled as she licked the six cubs at her side as they squealed for milk. As she touched her nose to each cub, she whispered their names into their tiny ears.

"Let all ocelots old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" yowled Crowstar from a rock near his den.

Thrushtail pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Crowstar had to say.

"I, Crowstar, Leader of CrowPride, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. "Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior name. Darkpaw, from this day on, you will be known as Darkleaf. StarPride honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of CrowPride." Leaping down from the rock, Crowstar padded forward and rested his muzzle on top of Darkleaf's head.

Darkleaf licked Crowstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the sound of the pride calling out his new name.

"Darkleaf, Darkleaf, Darkleaf!" cheered Thrushtail for the pride's newest warrior.

Goldenleaf padded out of the CrowPride camp, carrying the body of Magnoliapaw in her jaws. She made her way to the pride burial grounds, placing the body of Magnoliapaw down into a shallow hole in the ground, then scraped earth over her body.

Goldenflower's chest rumbled as she licked the single cub at her side as he pressed onto her belly for milk. As she touched her nose to his head, she whispered his name into his tiny ears.

"Let all ocelots old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" yowled Crowstar from his tree.

Thrushtail pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Crowstar had to say.

"I, Crowstar, Leader of CrowPride, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Magnoliapaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your pride, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." answered Magnoliapaw.
