Current WolfPride Plot

Blossomcub pricked up his ears and padded out of the nursery to hear what Sealstar had to say.

"I, Sealstar, Leader of WolfPride, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your pride, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." answered Stormpaw.

"Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior name. Stormpaw, from this day on, you will be known as Stormbriar. StarPride honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of WolfPride." Padding forward, Sealstar rested her muzzle on top of Stormbriar's head.

Stormbriar licked Sealstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the sound of the pride calling out his new name.

"Stormbriar, Stormbriar, Stormbriar!" cheered Blossomcub for the pride's newest warrior.

Reedpelt padded into the WolfPride camp, carrying catmint in her jaws. She made her way into the den she shared with Littlepaw, sitting down to sort out the catmint.

"Let all lions old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" roared Sealstar from the center of the pride camp.

Breezecub pricked up her ears and padded out of the nursery to hear what Sealstar had to say.

"I, Sealstar, Leader of WolfPride, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. "Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior name. Dawnpaw, from this day on, you will be known as Dawnthorn. StarPride honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of WolfPride." Padding forward, Sealstar rested her muzzle on top of Dawnthorn's head.

Dawnthorn licked Sealstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened to the pride call out his new name.

"Dawnthorn, Dawnthorn, Dawnthorn!" cheered Littlepaw for the pride's newest warrior.

Goldenpaw padded out of the medicine den, carrying a stick with mouse bile on the end. Wrinkling his nose in disgust, he made his way across the clearing to the elder's den.

"Let all lions old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pride meeting!" roared Sealstar from the center of the pride camp.

Mudcub pricked up her ears and padded out of the nursery to hear what Sealstar had to say.

"I do." answered Hailpaw.

"Then by StarPride, I give you your warrior name. Hailpaw, from this day on, you will be known as Hailfoot. StarPride honors you and we welcome you as a full warrior of WolfPride." Padding forward, Sealstar rested her muzzle on top of Hailfoot's head.

Hailfoot licked Sealstar's shoulder, then sat back and listened the pride call out his new name.

"Hailfoot, Hailfoot, Hailfoot!" cheered Bearpaw for her former denmate.

Brindlefur plucked a swallow from the fresh-kill pile in the nursery and carried it back to her cubs.

Reedpelt padded out of the WolfPride camp, dragging the body of Hawkfur in her jaws. She made her way to the pride burial grounds, placing the queen in a hole in the ground and covering her body with earth.

Hailfoot padded into the WolfPride camp, dragging an oryx in his jaws. He made his way into the nursery, dropping the oryx at the queen's paws with a dip of his head.
