Jaggedkit pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and carried it back to his nest to eat.

Spottedmouse padded into the ThunderClan camp, carrying a squirrel in his jaws. He made his way into the elder's den, dropping the squirrel at the elder's paws with a dip of his head.

Honeybirch padded into the ThunderClan camp, carrying a sparrow in his jaws. He made his way over to the fresh-kill pile, dropping the sparrow on top.

Podfur padded into the ThunderClan camp, carrying a vole in his jaws. He made his way into the nursery, dropping the vole at the queen's paws with a dip of his head.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" yowled Almondstar from the center of the clan camp.

Dustybird padded over and took his place at the front of the crowd.

"We gather today to welcome six kits into their lives as apprentices." continued Almondstar once the clan had gathered. "Flickerkit, you will be known as Flickerpaw. Stalkingtail, you will be mentor to Flickerpaw. Cometkit, you will be known as Cometpaw. Sixheart, you will be mentor to Cometpaw. Raptorkit, you will be known as Raptorpaw. Stingerswoop, you will be mentor to Raptorpaw. Softkit, you will be known as Softpaw. Speckledcloud, you will be mentor to Softpaw. Linseedkit, you will be known as Linseedpaw. Pumpkinwing, you will be mentor to Linseedpaw. Skykit, you will be known as Skypaw. Ragingwind, you will be mentor to Skypaw."

Flickerpaw puffed out her chest and padded over to Stalkingtail.

"Let's go check out the territories." meowed Stalkingtail as he touched noses with Flickerpaw.

Cometpaw shrugged to herself, then padded over to Sixheart.

"Ready to learn how to hunt?" meowed Sixheart as he touched noses with Cometpaw.

Raptorpaw heaved a huge sigh and padded over to Stingerswoop.

"Let's go work on some basic fighting moves." meowed Stingerswoop as he touched noses with Raptorpaw.

Softpaw blinked, then padded over and looked up at Speckledcloud.

"Mind if we come with you?" meowed Speckledcloud to Stalkingtail.

Linseedpaw blinked, shrugged, then headed over to Pumpkinwing.

"I hope you don't mind if we come along." meowed Pumpkinwing to Sixheart.

Skypaw puffed out his chest and padded over to Ragingwind.

"Go pick out a nest before your littermates find one." meowed Ragingwind as he touched noses with Skypaw.

"Flickerpaw, Cometpaw, Raptorpaw, Softpaw, Linseedpaw, Skypaw!" cheered Brokenclaw for the clan's newest apprentices.

Petalthorn padded into the ThunderClan camp, carrying a mouse in her jaws. She made her way into the nursery, dropping the mouse at the queen's paws with a dip of her head.

Falconleaf pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and sat down to eat.

Rowanspider padded out of his den, dragging the body of Dustybird in his jaws. He made his way to the center of the clan camp, arranging the deputy's body so the clan could grieve.

Meadowflower padded over and pressed her nose into Dustybird's fur.

Almondstar pressed his nose into Dustybird's fur, then tossed his head back in a yowl. "Cats of ThunderClan. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarClan so our ancestors may hear my approve and choice...Olivestem will be the deputy of ThunderClan!"
