Current HollowPack Plot

Chasepaw sat up on his haunches and tucked a stray bramble into the nursery wall.

"Let all dogs old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pack meeting!" announced Hollowstar from the center of the pack camp.

Brambleclaw pricked up her ears and padded over to hear what Hollowstar had to say.

"We gather today to welcome five pups into their lives as apprentices." continued Hollowstar once the pack had gathered. "Sandpup, you will be known as Sandpaw. Rainwind, you will be mentor to Cedarpaw. Boulderpup, you will be known as Boulderpaw. Willowstripe, you will be mentor to Boulderpaw. Cedarpup, you will be known as Cedarpaw. Since you have shown an interest in healing, Rainfang will be your mentor. Tallpup, you will be known as Tallpaw. Sandstripe, you will be mentor to Tallpaw. Stonepup, you will be known as Stonepaw. Mapleheart, you will be mentor to Stonepaw."

Sandpaw wiggled out of excitement and bounced over to Rainwind.

"Ready to go check out the territory?" asked Rainwind as he touched noses with Sandpaw.

Boulderpaw let out a loud howl of excitement and padded quickly over to Willowstripe.

Tallpaw blinked a few times, then padded over to Sandstripe.

"Let's go work on hunting." suggested Willowstripe as he touched noses with Boulderpaw.

"Ready to learn some fighting moves?" Sandstripe asked Tallpaw.

Stonepaw let out a snort and padded over to Mapleheart.

"Go get to know your new denmate." Mapleheart suggested as he touched noses with Stonepaw.

Cedarpaw puffed out her chest and padded over to Rainfang.

"Let's go get you a nest set up and go over some remedies." suggested Rainfang as she touched noses with Cedarpaw.

"Cedarpaw, Sandpaw, Boulderpaw, Tallpaw, Stonepaw!" cheered Chasepaw for his new denmates.

Rainfang padded into the HollowPack camp, carrying burdock root in her jaws. She made her way into the den she shared with Cedarpaw, placing the root into the storage.

Chasepaw pulled a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and carried it over to Boulderpaw.

"Let all dogs old enough to catch their own prey gather for a pack meeting!" howled Hollowstar from the center of the pack camp.

Lostwash pricked up his ears and padded over to hear what Hollowstar had to say.

"I, Hollowstar, Leader of HollowPack, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Chasepaw, Sandpaw, Boulderpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Pack, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." answered Chasepaw.

"I do!" answered Sandpaw, his tail waving in the air.

"I do!" answered Boulderpaw excitedly.

"Then by StarPack, I give you your warrior names." continued Hollowstar. "Chasepaw, you will be known as Chasepool. Sandpaw, you will be known as Sandwing. Boulderpaw, you will be known as Boulderheart. StarPack honors you all and we welcome you all as full warriors of HollowPack."

Chasepool flicked an ear, listening to the pack call out their new names.
