Cloverpool padded into the BeePride camp, carrying tansy in her jaws. She made her way into her den, placing the tansy into the storage.

Heartcub pulled a thrush from the fresh-kill pile in the nursery and dragged it over to Skycub to share.

Cloverpool padded out of her den, dragging the body of Eggstar in her jaws. She made her way to the center of the pride camp, arranging the leader's body so the pride could grieve.

Heartcub padded out of the nursery and pressed his nose into Eggstar's fur.

Longfur pressed her nose to Eggstar's pelt, feeling the lives flow into her own body, and tossed her head back in a yowl. "Leopards of BeePride. Listen, And I will appoint the new deputy. I say these words before StarPride so our ancestors may hear and approve my choice...Dapplepelt will be the deputy of BeePride!"
